by If ANY character that is below default {excluding pups} that are looking to go into any fighting rank or rank that involves fighting, or power and advantage, cannot participate in those ranks. A character RP wise is physically too small to be capable of the tasks, and must resort to the other available ranks.
However, if you wish to change your character's size above the default line, and wish to join the ranking, you may of course do so! We just don't wish for small fighters to get hurt during battles, no matter how fast you may be. It is still quite an advantage for bigger fighters.
As well as for smaller characters shall have a limit to how many children they have, Relating to more realism, that way physically your character doesn't, eh, die. An example {thank you lex c:}: A fairly small female should have at least two pups in a litter. Also, keep in mind ranks do have limits to blood pups as well. A fairly small female should be able to healthily carry two or three, and so on.
